Check Charging System Ford. 4.6 i'm getting a check charging system. I have a 2006 f150, 5.4l.
Installed new battery and new alternator; I thought the battery was dead but now if i just hold the key all the way at start it starts up but alittle rough as if it was the battery dying. So has to be a loose connection.

After That It Held Steady And The Warning Went Off Until I Turned The Headlights On Again And The Warning Came Back.
And i replaced the battery and it ran for 2 days and now i'm getting the check charging system alternator and battery checked out good nothing was plugged in no lights are on. If the car says → check the charging system, that means there are some complications which are either exist or going to happen very soon. Installed new battery and new alternator;

It completely died on me one day on the highway. To view or edit your charge settings: I've put a new battery and alternator on it, (both tested bad at autozone), ran it for about 45 minutes and now.
Press The Vehicle Icon On The Lower Left.
If it is lower have the alternator tested at a shop with a charging system tester. They would then turn back on and go off again, during which time the battery light came on and a message stating to check charging system. This is for a 03 exp.
